We seek a highly motivated SEM Specialist to join our agency team.
This person’s primary responsibilities will be on-site optimizations on our client’s business websites, administering SEM related services, Reputation Management, Google Analytics training, and SEM consultations and report building for clients.
This person will also be responsible for setting up and administering search marketing, outreach and display, retargeting campaigns. Etc. They will educate other team members on SEM, advocate for SEM best practices and help implement strategic plans to grow client sites. They will be expected to continually develop, adhere to, improve and update SEM standards and apply those techniques. This person must be able to hit the ground running and be a fast learner in a fast paced environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities include:- Review and analyze client websites for areas that need improvement and be able to consult on recommendations for better ranking
- Handle the production side of outreach and retargeting campaigns
- Work with third party partners to manage and optimize paid search campaigns
- Consult with clients and sales teams on SEM best practices
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
- Be able to prepare SEM reporting documents
- Performing website audits to identify areas of improvement
- On-page optimization of website content and code
- Keyword research and optimization
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Content editing and collaborate with management to make recommendations
- Analyzing ranking reports and analytics and other performance metrics, taking action to optimize sites
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, strategies and latest developments in paid search
- Other digital marketing tasks as assigned
Experience & Skills Required:- 3-5 years of proven ability leading and implementing SEO and SEM strategy and campaigns
- Hands on experience with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster tools
- Knowledge of various Content Management Systems.
- Knowledge of HTML and ability to read HTML code
- Ability to work with client services teams to ensure maximized performance
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients, and be able to demonstrate successes and failures of a digital campaign to account executives and clients
- Knowledge of pay per click campaigns
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinker with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office

- Basic to intermediate web design and technology principles
- Agency experience
- BS/BA degree
- Bilingual English / Spanish.
