It was a freelance design position. She focused aminly on print collateral and promotional work, but also worked on some branding and web design (design, not production).

Very well. She was eager to collaborate and offer ideas/suggestions, and brought a good perspective to the work.
How did Jane handle conflict? How about pressure? Stress?
We didn’t have a lot of conflict, other than the usual conflict that happens when dealing with creative feedback (for example a stakeholder may want less/more [insert color here], less copy/more copy, etc). But Jane was very professional, noted the feedback, explained the rationale and moved forward.
Can you speak to Jane's software capabilities?
She worked offsite so I didn’t see here working within applications firsthand, but she seemed very capable with Illustrator and Photoshop, and she was able to turn edits around quickly.
Would you work with Jane again if the opportunity arose?
