Full time. Joel was a Senior Designer. He was responsible for leading the visual design of concepts intended to expand the core business. They were highly conceptual projects and his job was to transform the abstract ideas into a concrete website. He also performed some frontend work and tableless CSS coding.
Did Joel miss a lot of work? Was Joel frequently late? Were there any issues you are aware of that impacted Joel's job performance?
No. Joel was always on time and energetic about work.
Did Joel get along well with management and co-workers?
Yes, very well.
How did Joel handle conflict? How about pressure? Stress?
I'm not aware of any conflicts outside of the creative critique process, which Joel was always very open to and articulate in expressing his ideas. He frequently stayed late or took work home to make deadlines and avoid pressure and stress.
Can you speak to Joel's software capabilities?
He has expert knowledge of the entire Adobe Suite and has very strong Photoshop and Flash skills.
