I worked with Alberto at Go East for about 6-9 months in 2010.
Was this freelance or a fulltime relationship? What was Alberto's position? Can you describe the job responsibilities?
He was a full time Interactive Director. His responsibilities included building and leading a team of interactive developers and UX professionals with the business objective of gaining more interactive work for the agency.
Did Alberto miss a lot of work? Was Alberto frequently late? Were there any issues you are aware of that impacted Alberto's job performance?
No issues.
Did Alberto get along well with management and co-workers?
Alberto is well liked by co-workers and management.
How did Alberto handle conflict? How about pressure? Stress?
Alberto was not afraid to manage conflict. He did so in a calm and professional manner by addressing situations head-on, taking ownership of what he needed to, supporting his team when needed, etc. As far as pressure and stress - Alberto did what needed to be done to get the job done RIGHT and on time. Which includes staying late, coming in early, working weekends, when needed. During times such as these, he did still maintain an open door policy to address other issues or team needs.
Can you speak to Alberto's software capabilities?
I know he has experience with a broad range of software, but I do not know specifics.
Would you work with Alberto again if the opportunity arose?
Absolutely. I think he is a great leader in that he gives his team the tools and info they need and then he lets them succeed on their own - given them help when needed and full credit throughout. I learned a lot when I worked with him and appreciated his insights and management style.
